Encuesta: Piratería
¿Crees que la piratería afecta a los artistas?
MediaTakeOut.com received an email from one of our faithful readers who wanted to shed some insight into why Def Jam is so animate in preventing Nas from entitling his new album the 'N Word.'Here's what our reader, who is an entertainment insider, had to say:
EMI signed a light skinned reggaeton artist that uses the n word as a name. Yes, the artist name is "nigga" and he is selling millions of units worldwide. He is already platinum in Central and South America and is getting a great response from the public in Europe.
Lets put it like this - he is the new Daddy Yankee. So the executives in the music industry do not want controversy about the "N" word while the new artist is pushing major units out of the states.
In fact he is going to release the project in the states in the next week under the name of "Flex" - but that will nly be his name in the united states - he is going to be known as nigga worldwide.
